Ride the Square Dance Fun Bus to the TSFSRD Nominating Dance
Join other ASRDA square dancers on a bus ride to Georgetown for the TSFSRD Nominating Dance on Saturday, Jan. 10. The bus leaves New Braunfels at 5:00 pm and returns around 11:30-12a. The bus will be at the Walmart Parking Lot in New Braunfels for pick up. 17th Annual February Frenzy
South Texas Square & Round Dance Association invite you to the 17th Annual February Frenzy on February 13 & 14, 2026 at the Bauer Community Center in Port Lavaca, Texas. Friday, Feb. 13, 2026 begins with Pre-Rounds at 7:00 pm with Marilyn & Jerral Waguespack, cuing, followed by Joey Duhamel calling squares from 7:30-9:30 pm.
Saturday afternoon is filled with Round and Fun Squares Workshops. Round Workshop is from 1:15-3:00 pm with the Squares Workshop from 3:15-5:00pm.
On Saturday, pre-rounds begin at 7:00 with Squares scheduled for 7:30-10:00 including rounds between tips. Dance attire appreciated on Friday and Saturday evenings.

TSFSRD will hold their Conclave Meeting, March 6-7 in Brenham, Texas. Both Friday and Saturday nights will feature Caller Nelda Eaton and Cuers Tricia Morley & Dennis Artz. This is hosted by the Sam Houston Square and Round Dance Association and held at the Cowboy Church of Brenham. Mark your calendar for the 37th Annual Wildflower Dance on Saturday, April 25, 2026, sponsored by the Country Cuzzins Square Dance Club. The 64th Annual TSFSRD Festival is scheduled for June 4, 2026-June 6, 2026 in Longview Texas. Mark your calendar for this fun-filled weekend. More information will follow.
75th National Square Dance Convention
It is not too early to register for the 75th National Square Dance Convention in Waco, TX. 2026 is the year of the Diamond Jubilee. If you have never been to a National Convention and live in Texas, the National Convention is NOT going to get any closer! The National Square Dance Convention is like a Disneyland for dancers. There are workshops in clogging, contra dancing, round and square dancing, hex and progressive squares, and lines. There are morning dances especially for solo dancers to meet other solos. There are all levels of workshops and dances in square and round dancing. If you want to learn more about the logistics of running or growing a club, there are educational offerings for that as well.
Pre-registration for four full days of dancing is only $60/person and $30 for youth born after June 27th 2009. This pre-registration price is only available until March 22, 2025. There is a very liberal cancellation policy so you have nothing to lose by registering early. Early registration allows the Convention organizers to plan appropriately and know how much additional fundraising will be needed.
This is YOUR state and YOUR convention. Register now and help make the 75th National Square Dance Convention a success. LET’S GO WACO!
The Roaring Twenties
Southern Knights present The Roaring Twenties Saturday, August 29, 2026 at the Schertz Community Center, 1400 Schertz Parkway, Bldg. 3 in Schertz, Texas. From 2-4 pm PLUS Dancing is offered.
