Square Up, Have Fun, Slim Down & Make New Friends!
Singles & Couples of all ages welcome - Dress is Casual
Basic square dance lessons will start on Sept 8 and run through Nov 10. We will then break for the holidays & resume Jan 12, 2012 after the holidays. Class will meet 6:30-7:30pm. There will be the opportunity to practice with the Club 7:30-8:30pm. Full club dance will from 8:30-9:30.
Buckles & Bows will offer a full set of Mainstream lessons beginning Thursday, September 1st, 2011 at the CP First United Methodist Church in Cedar Park (600 W. Park Street). The lessons will be held every Thursday evening from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. We will have open house on 8/18 & 8/25. We invite everyone to come out and learn to Square Dance.
Shirts'n'Skirts will host free square dancing introductory sessions between 7 and 8 pm on September 14th and September 21st. On the following Wednesdays, Basic and Mainstream square dancing lessons will be held for an hour starting at 7 pm. Our regular caller, Jim Hayes of New Braunfels, will teach.
After each hour lesson, Jim will call a regular Mainstream/Plus square dance between 8 and 9:30 pm and there will be Line or Round Dancing between tips as usual.
Come to McCoy Elementary School in Georgetown at 1313 Williams Drive, just off of IH35.
Buckles & Bows will offer a full set of Mainstream lessons beginning Tuesday, August 23rd, 2011 at the Baca Center, 300 Bagdad Road, Round Rock. It is near 620 and I35. The lessons will be held every Tuesday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
We will have open house on 8/23 & 8/20. We invite everyone to come out and learn to Square Dance.
Waterloo Squares will begin lessons on Thursday, August 25th. There will be two levels of lessons: Beginners will be from 7:15 - 8:45 and the first two lessons will be free; the second level will be Plus - for experienced Mainstream dancers, and they will start at 8:45 pm. See flyer for details.
This is a quick but thorough introduction to Plus in only 4 classes. It's not intended to replace regular Plus lessons but could be a nice review for experienced or new Plus dancers. It could also be a good starter for Mainstream dancers.
$15/person for all 4 sessions, at South Austin Senior Center: July 14,21, August 4,11.
