Heart of Texas SRDA Spring Fling Dance begins with a 6:30 Potluck, a 7:15 exhibition and Grand March at 7:55.  New officer installation and introduction of Dancer and Caller of the year mark this special occasion.  Square dancing features calle

John Carlton and John Kephart call square dancing.  Rounds provided by David and Terri Meyer at the Deitert Center in Kerville, TX.  Headquarters Hotel: Inn of the Hills.

Cost for the weekend - $35 per person until Nov 9, 2013.  Rounds, Squares w/Rounds and Advanced for all comers.  Saturday night after party.

Fundancers Square and Line Dance Club presents Jerry Story.  Jerry wishes to make this a benefit dance for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.  We agree!  He will donate his calling fee and we will provide the hall.

ALL PROCEED’S WILL GO TO ST. JUDE’S!

A $10 donation would be appreciated. Larger donations will be accepted.

Please publicize the Sundancers Halloween Dance on Monday, October 29, at the Social Center Ballroom in Sun City, with Brad Caldwell and Gary Bible calling, and the Pates cueing.

Pre-rounds start at 6:30pm, and squares starting at 7pm.  $6 per person, please.

As this is a 5th Monday, the Sundancers and Swinging Lakers have a combined dance, with the Sundancers hosting this time.

Gertrude Asher, a lifetime member of Killeen Kickers, mother of Vickie Tounget and Jim Asher suffered a massive stroke last June.  Her right side was paralyzed, with speech and memory impaired.  She received treatment at Scott & White in Temple and in their Waco rehabilitation center. Soon, she was transferred to Rosewood Care Center in Killeen for continued therapy.

In October 2012, her insurance terminates.  Further expenses will be borne by Gertrude and her immediate family.  Any and all help will be sincerely appreciated.

The Hermann Sons Square Dance Club would love and appreciate the honor of your presence as we celebrate our 45th anniversary dance.

Hello Dancers,

The Lone Star Lambdas host our first ever square dance weekend (also known as a fly-in) on March 1-3, 2013.

We have two highly skilled callers with Sandie Bryant of Chicago (Mainstream through C4) and Bill Eyler (MS through C2). We will have two dance halls going simultaneously. One hall will feature mainstream and plus levels and a second hall will focus on advanced and challenge levels.

Jim is determined that these Thursday dances will be fun for all Plus-level dancers.  There will be some All Position Dancing and as little "stop and go" as possible.  He's shooting for a nice continuous dance flow - lots of music, movement,  and fun!  Some extra calories may get burned at no extra cost...
