The Tx Bluebonnets ended their 17 years with a great party.
 

Unfortunately, the Texas Bluebonnets club has folded.  Below is some key information about the club for historical purposes.

Texas Bluebonnets  MS,+
7:30 - 9:30pm, 1st - 4th Tuesdays

Our regular Wednesday dances on the above dates will not be held because of the holidays.  We'll still have our usual 5th Wednesday All Plus Dance on November 30th. 

Here's what everyone missed at our Free Dance on the Square at the Come and Take It Festival, October 1st, 2011. For those of you who did show up, we loved having you join us and be part of Come N' Take It Squares story ... and for those of you who didn't, please join us at next year's Come and Take It Festival the first weekend in October, where we will kick off our Open House and Lessons for 2012! Yellow Rock, y'all!!

Wayne Weston will be the guest caller for the Swinging Lakers Square Dance Club  on Oct. 17 and 24, while Gary Bible is on vacation.  Please come visit us and welcome Wayne to Cedar Park.

In response to quite a few questions: Yes – The Swinging Lakers Boat Dance on October 8th will go as planned!  The lake level is low but still navigable, the scenery around the lake is spectacular and the weather mild enough to enjoy an evening on the water.  There is space available so if you would like to cruise and dance with us -- Gary Bible calling -- contact Larry or Louise at 512-267-2341 or lardrake@netscape.net. 
 

The Texas Bluebonnets will be dark on August 23rd.  We will be dancing on August 360th if anyone would like to join us with some fun dancing.

We WILL have our Luau dance as planned on August 27th.  Please make a note that there will be no dinner just dancing.  $6.00 donation for mainstream and plus dancing with Jimmy Johnson calling.  Line dancing will keep you busy between tips.  There will be cool Hawaiian refreshments and some really decadent snacks.  Come and enjoy the islands Bluebonnet style.
