You made the May 2008 Mid-Tex Festival a great success! Your 2007-2008 Mid-Tex committee's goal was to have at least sixteen happy squares on each night. Because of your enthusiastic participation and getting the word out to others, we had many round dancers enjoy the event plus the square dancing was high energy and fun. Many past presidents were there to offer their support. The attendance was terrific. There were 19 squares Friday night, 8 at the Saturday afternoon event, and 23 squares on Saturday night. Many commented that they enjoyed Tim Tyl's calling and George & Pamela Hurd's cueing. In addition to fun, and fellowship with great dancing, there was the Club Baskets silent auction and a 50/50 split the pot. We had two vendors at this activity: Suzie's Ruffles and Tag'Em engraving.
The Lambdas will be dark for Memorial Day. Please join us some other night.
