Events
This is a new round dance festival to be held at St. Patrick's Day in the Houston area.
Dances will be Phases 2 - 4. Mark and Pam Prow will conduct it with another guest cuer each year. The inaugural guest cuers are Lucy and Jerry Pate.
Dances will be held Friday and Saturday evenings, with funshops held Saturday morning and afternoon.

We will have one dance from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. and a 2nd dance from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. Jerry will call to the floor and a special discount price will be offered for attending both dances!

The Heart of Texas SRDA host thier annual Teen Scholarship dance on Saturday March 31st in Speegleville's Allemande Hall from 7:30PM until 10:00PM. Entertainment provided by Heart of Texas Callers and Cuers. Finger food refreshments provided, honey pot and silent auction.

The Lone Star Lambdas are hosting their quarterly joint dance with our sister club, the Alamo City Wranglers, on Saturday, April 14, 2012 from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM, at Gethesemane Lutheran Church. Everyone is invited to join us for dancing and lunch. Casual attire
Joe Salel will be calling and Lucy and Jerry Pate will cue rounds.
There will be a square dance fun shop and a round dance workshop in the afternoon, early rounds and 2+2 dancing in the evening, and light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

We're doing our 4th 50's dance with Brad (?) Caldwell. Elvis and other entertainers may be in the house! Come and have a blast with us - plan to Bunny Hop and Hula the Hoop, and enjoy burgers and floats.

'Cruise to Mid-Tex' in Georgetown and join us as we celebrate our 64th annual Austin SRDA Mid-Tex Festival on Friday, May 4th 2012 and Saturday, May 5th 2012. Bob Baier caller, and Annie Brownrigg & Carl Dammier cuers. Friday dance starts at 7pm for 30 minutes of pre-rounds followed by square and round dancing from 7:30pm to 10pm. Saturday's afternoon schedule includes a rounds workshop from 1pm to 2:30pm followed by a square dance from 3pm to 4:30pm. Saturday's early rounds begin at 6:30pm and the square and round dance continues from 7:30pm to 10pm.

Shirts'n'Skirts will hold their annual Ice Cream Dance on Wednesday, July 11th, at McCoy Elementary School in Georgetown - our regular dance location. Lucy & Jerry Pate will start us off with Round Dancing at 7:00 PM. Jim Hayes will kick off Square Dancing at 7:30 PM. Lucy, Jerry, and Jim will follow a 2+2 format - with announced Plus until 9:30 PM or until everyone is totally delighted, whichever comes last!
