Shirts'n'Skirts will hold their popular Ice Cream Dance on Wednesday, July 13th, at McCoy Elementary School in Georgetown - our regular dance location. We WILL have our Luau Dance as planned on August 27th from 7:30 - 10:00 for a donation fee of $6.00. Mainstream and plus square dancing with Jimmy Johnson calling. Line dancing tips will keep us warmed up. Cool Hawaiian refreshments along with decadent snacks will keep the energy level up. This is an annual round dance festival held in Shreeveport, LA that is a favorite of many Austin area round dancers.
Round dances are held Friday and Saturday (with pre-rounds!) nights and round dance workshops are held Saturday morning and afternoon.
The featured instructors are Mark and Pam Prow from Seabrook, TX. Many other cuers will also participate, including Lucy (& Jerry) Pate.
