Blue Santa Benefit Toy Dance -- Please join us at Hyde Park Christian Church (610 E 45th Street, Austin, Tx) for a benefit dance to donate toys and money to the Austin Blue Santa Christmas Toy Drive. Admission to the dance is one UNWRAPPED new toy per person. We will have a donation jar if you prefer to donate money for the cause. Toys for older teenagers and young infants are especially in need. The 47th Annual Texas State Federation of Square and Round Dancers Festival will be June 11, 12, 13, and 14 at the Waco Convention Center in Waco. Activities begin Thursday evening with the Trail End Dance and after-party hosted by the Texas Callers Association. Join us for the ASRDA 2009-2010 Installation, Bar-B-Que & Dance. The 5:30-6:30pm Bar-B-Que dinner (brisket, pork loin, & sausage from Smokey Mo's) is $7.50 per person. Seventy-two people made reservations for dinner and this number was turned in to Smotokey Mo's on Tuesday, July 7th, 2009. The requested donation for the dance is $5 per person. After dinner, installation of the officers will be from 6:30 to 7pm. Then there is Pre-rounds from 7 to 7:30pm followed by the 7:30-9pm dance.

Dance with us this Christmas season and donate gifts to children in need (form infants to teens). Please join us at Hyde Park Christian Church, 610 East 45th Street, Austin, Texas. This is a benefit dance to donate toys and money to the Austin Blue Santa Christmas Toy Drive. Admission is one unwrapped toy per dancer. We will have a donation jar if you prefer to donate money for the cause. Toys for older teenagers and young infants are especially in need. Anything will be graciously accepted.
